This past weekend was a very fun time that ended up in a bit of a disaster for me. You see, I was at a cookout with some friends and family to celebrate my best friends birthday. Everything went very well, that is until I decided to have a piece of corn on the cob. As I was biting down on the corn I felt my tooth break off and felt the worst pain along with it. I knew right away that I would need to go see my dentist to get a dental implant in Launceston. This was in no way the way I expected my fun planned weekend to turn out. Of course, I left the party early and simply went home because I was in agonizing pain and I also did not want anybody to see me with a missing tooth. I guess I’m a little vain in that way. Monday morning finally arrived and I scheduled an appointment for that very same day to have my dentist take a look at it and come up with a plan of action to fix this. I hope he is able to fix this pretty quickly. As I mentioned before, I really don’t want anybody to see me with a missing tooth because I am very embarassed about it. I’ve been going to this dentist for over 10 years now and have full faith in him to take care of this and make the implant look like one of my own natural teeth. I also know a few people who have had this procedure done by this dentist and they look amazing. I know it shouldn’t matter but society can be cruel and unforgiving with the simplest of flaws a person may have. I can’t wait to be able to smile again without worrying about what people think.
